A Little Something About Me:
My Dad always drilled into me that “try” was never enough. He didn’t want to hear I tried something, only that I “did” something. Art was never a “try” for me, so here I am, a Colorado Mesa University graphic design student, rapidly approaching their junior year. I am starving to dive into new projects, challenges, and opportunities; “can’t” is not a word I rely on.

Go To Coffee Order:
Truly depends on the day on my order but, there are some that will forever be in the rotation. A vanilla cold brew with half & half is the most scrumptious drink ever. Not too sweet or bitter, just perfect. I also really enjoy matcha with lavender and, no Chantel, it does not taste like grass.
Music Taste:
It’s fair to say “I listen to everything” there is not a lot I do not like. The stranger the sound the more love I have for it. Safe to say the playlist follows no theme, just what has held my interest in the past and now. The number of concerts I have been to exceeds the number of fingers and toes I have; all time favorite has to be the Hella Mega Tour with Weezer, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy.
Favorite Movie Of All Time:
My all time, number one, movie is 100% Rango. The asymmetrical character design, the plot, and the outstanding cast just launch the movie past all my other favorites. A close runner up is Howl’s Moving Castle, for its stunning visuals and sound track. I am also a huge fan of Howl’s and Sophie’s characters.
What’s in my Bag:
I always, always carry a pocket sketchbook and a ballpoint pen, no matter what. Ideas come to me in the most random of times and places. Inspiration strikes at anytime and I have forgotten more than one amazing idea. I will almost always have my headphones as well, I don’t think I can go a day without music. Other items such as my keys, wallet, phone are a no-brainer. But, within my wallet is a two-dollar bill that I have been carrying around for years because I believe it brings me luck.
Favorite Color:
Even though my website leans more green and orange my favorite color is maroon (really any shades of red). Red to me is like purple to Prince, my room is pink, my backpack and phone are maroon, and I own more red sweaters than is probably needed. Even my family knows anything red or pink is my go to.
A Morning With Me:
When I wake up in the morning my number one thing is checking the weather, even though I dress the exact same no matter the temperature. Waking up is hard for me and I usually lay in bed for a moment scrolling on TikTok or Insta before finally getting myself ready. My roommate is very much not a morning person, even worse than I am. We have an agreement that I am not allowed to yap at her until she speaks to me. We have lived with one another for two years now and I just signed another year long lease with her, so it must work for both of us.
Best Holiday Ever:
Halloween, need I say more. Spooky movies, costumes, candy, and parties. It means there’s not a lot of money spent on gifts, no cooking, and pure joy. Halloween movies are also the best out there, especially the classics. As a kid I loved Halloween for the trick or treating but now I love it because it is an excuse to hang and have fun with some of my favorite people.
Dark Mode or Light Mode:
Now, I am going to get some flack for this, I am a light mode girly. This is only if I can’t customize the layout. If I can change the color to whatever I want then I make it dark brown and yellow. If thats not an option then light mode it is. Dark mode tends of give me a headache when I look at it for too long, and it is hard to read if I am outside on a sunny day.
Introvert or Extravert:
Growing up I would have described myself as an introvert, but now I think I can say I am an extrovert. I love chatting with people, yapping is one of my favorite pass times. I have also reached a part of my life that I don’t need to constantly worry about being judged, if a stranger thinks something about me then what does that matter, I don’t know them and they don’t know me. I chat with everyone now, good mornings as I walk past people, small talk while waiting in lines, and chatting with friends and classmates when ever I get the chance.
Crazy Pet Peeves:
The sound of water proof clothing. Puffy jackets, snow pants, anything of that sort just grates on my nerves. It drives me up a wall when I hear it. I actually don’t even own a puffer jacket just because of my hatred for the sound. I will find others way to be warm rather than that god forsaken piece of fabric. Even people around me wearing it drives me up a wall, it’s why fall is my favorite season, no puffy jackets yet but its not sweltering hot.
Go To Snack:
Hear me out on this one, hot Cheetos and cream cheese. It was a trend for a bit on TikTok but every once in a while I have to indulge in it myself. On the go snacking, needs something less complicated, so I usually go with pretzels, but they have to be the gluten-free Snyder pretzels.
