This project involved creating a match cut animation featuring four different birds set against collaged backgrounds. Before animation began, all imagery was manipulated and treated to establish a cohesive visual language and texture throughout the piece. Inspired by the principles of match cuts in film editing, each transition was carefully designed so that forms, motion, or composition from one frame visually aligned with the next, creating smooth and intentional movement between scenes. The final animation emphasizes rhythm, continuity, and visual transformation through layered collage and motion design techniques.
